Masked thieves stole more than $50,000 worth of Seattle Seahawks gear from a sports store next to Lumen Field this morning.
Just after 4:00 a.m., patrol officers responded to a burglary in the 1000 block of 1st Avenue South. There, they met with staff who reported the break-in. According to the police report, the security footage “showed three masked suspects break in through the front door, stealing merchandise, all three suspects leaving through the front entrance.”
The business also reported an estimated $2,300 in property damage as a result of the burglary.
The suspects left the area before police arrived. Officers did not make any arrests. Anyone with information is asked to call the SPD Non-Emergency Line at 206-625-5011.
