At 0511 hours, dispatchers received reports of possibly 10 shots near Linden Avenue North and North 102 Street. Police received updates that two vehicles were shooting at each other. One vehicle fled Eastbound on North 102 Street and the other fled Northbound on Linden Avenue North prior to officers arriving. No victims were located, and evidence was recovered from the scene.

At 1608 hours, officers responded to a damage call around Cherry Street and 9th Avenue. Upon arrival, they observed the suspect spray-painting a building within a secured fenced area. When officers attempted to place the suspect into custody, he resisted and assaulted officers. Officers were able to secure the suspect. The suspect was then transported to the KCJ for charges of Assault 3 and Burglary. The suspect was medically declined at KCJ and transported to Harborview for medical treatment. After being cleared by HMC, the suspect will be booked into jail.

At 1817 hours, officers responded to a robbery call around 15th Avenue East and East Harrison Street. The victim reported that, at an unknown time, he was standing on the sidewalk along 15th Avenue East when an unknown male suspect approached him. The suspect forcefully pushed the victim’s head against the wall of a nearby business and began searching through the victim’s pockets. The suspect stole the victim’s wallet and then violently slammed the victim’s head against the wall, causing him to fall to the ground. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction. The victim was unable to provide a description of the suspect. An area search for security cameras and witnesses was conducted, but no leads were found. SFD provided medical attention to the victim but he declined to go to the hospital.
