At 0744 hours, officers responded to the 3900 block of SW Othello Street per request of SFD. They had responded to a fire of a fence at a residence. The trash/recycle bins had been set on fire and spread to the nearby fence and tree. No injuries occurred. The person may be possibly known to residence. The person has crisis history and has history of arson and was at the residence earlier. A witness stated that they saw her near the smoking trash bins. Possible suspect was GOA. Fire Marshal responded and ABS was notified.

At 2317 hours, an officer conducting proactive patrol in the Belltown neighborhood, located a suspicious male who subsequently removed a bag from his persons and threw it to the ground before walking off after seeing the officer. The bag was discovered to have a significant amount crack cocaine inside. The officer attempted to stop and detain the suspect, but a foot pursuit ensued. The suspect was subsequently taken into custody. A search of the foot pursuit path also revealed further narcotics the suspect had tried to discard while fleeing. In total, 26.7g of crack cocaine, 8.6g of methamphetamine, 1.6g of fentanyl, and 3.8g of heroin were recovered. Suspect booked into KCJ.
