At 1239 hours, a caller reported he had located an unknown man in his house and had just shot him. Officers responded and located the caller outside with a revolver in his hand. Officers gave him commands to put the gun down and the caller followed the orders. The caller was placed into custody without incident. A search of the residence was conducted and did not locate anyone else inside. One shot had been fired (.22 cal.) inside the residence. The caller was sent to HMC for an ITA, the firearm was collected and placed into evidence.
#2026-90918/East Precinct/Second Watch/G2:
At 1410 hours, officers responded to a reported of threats made via email to a public school. The email demanded that Bitcoin be sent through a link. The school was evacuated as a precautionary measure. The school was searched by officers with school security assisting. Nothing suspicious was identified and the school return to normal operations. Incident screened with ABS and Criminal Intelligence.
#2026-91223/West Precinct/Second Watch/K3:
At 1946 hours, several Chinatown International District Safety Ambassadors asked the suspect to leave a shopping center. The suspect pulled out a pistol, with his finger on the trigger, and growled at them. The Safety Ambassadors flagged down Officers working the DAT cleanup. The suspect was taken into custody, and the pistol was recovered. The suspect was booked into KCJ. There are a multitude of no trespassing signs on the property.
