At 1623 hours, a large group of 50-60 anti-Trump/Iran/ICE demonstrators arrived at the federal building and began using electric Lime scooters and bicycles to block to garage exit doors of the building and also deposited trash and other debris around the building. Federal Protective Services (FPS) requested SPD assistance in monitoring the crowd so FPS personnel and employees could ultimately vacate the building for the night. A small contingent of officers, along with Poet-1 responded and monitored the crowd. The crowd took over the front plaza area of the federal building and held various signs and was initially verbally hostile to SPD presence during attempts to establish dialogue with them. A short time later, the crowd began self-dispersing with no further incident and FPS and building employees all vacated the building for the night. There was a minor assault that was later reported to SPD that occurred between members of the crowd and a single counter-demonstrator that arrived. 213 was on-scene.
