#2026-108427/North Precinct/Second Watch/L2:

At 1830 hours, SPD Dispatch received a missing person call in Northgate area. The caller reported that his 90-year-old father, who suffers from dementia, had not returned from his walk. The son called his father on his cell phone and was told that he was lost and didn’t know where he was. The son then tried to call his father several more times but was hung up on. Sgt. authorized Seattle Dispatch to attach a photograph of the missing father to the call. Officers and CARE units arrived and did an area check but were unable to locate him. LT. who authorized a Silver Alert for the missing father.

#2026-108757/East Precinct/First Watch/E2:

At 0415 hours, officers responded to a report of a suspicious person at a local business located near East Pike Street and 10th Avenue. The officers established probable cause to arrest the suspect for assault 4. During the arrest, the suspect resisted and fought with the police officers but was eventually taken into custody. The suspect received medical attention at the scene and was subsequently booked into the King County Jail for Assault 3. Two officers also went to the hospital to receive treatment for their injuries. The incident was screened with the 221 and FIT. A Type 2 use of force was used during the arrest.

#2026-108583/North Precinct/Third Watch/U3:

At 2134 hours, four officers conducted a High Visibility Emphasis patrol to promote traffic safety on 4/20, funded by the Washington Traffic Safety Commission. Officers contacted 52 drivers, issued 49 citations, and arrested two for DUIs.

#2026-109584/East Precinct/Second Watch/E2:

At about 1906 hours, officers responded to a Robbery of a local business in the area of 12 Av/ E Columbia St. The suspect approached the front counter and pointed a firearm at the store employee. The suspect demanded money from the cash register. The employee opened the cash register and gave the suspect the cash. The suspect fled on foot heading northbound on 12 Av. Officers did a thorough area search of the suspect, no K9 units were available. Officers could not locate the suspect. Robbery Unit was notified.

#2026-109694/West Precinct/Third Watch/M1:

At 2141 hours, Officers responded to a report of shots heard. Upon arrival to the location, officers located shell casings in the roadway and an adjacent parked vehicle that had obvious collision damage. There were no victims that remained on-scene. Further investigation revealed the occupant of a white Tesla Model Y were involved in a road rage type incident with the occupants of a white compact SUV. The occupant of the Tesla fired at least two rounds in an unknown direction and the SUV then fled. The Tesla Model Y reversed into a parked vehicle behind it and then fled as well. Patrol processed the scene. GVRU notified via alert email.
