At 1230 hours, officers responded to Downtown Emergency Services Center (DESC) facility to assist Designated Crisis Responder (DCR) with Involuntary Treatment Act (ITA) warrant of subject with violent tendencies. Subject attempted to flee and resisted arrest. While taking subject into custody, an officer sustained a laceration to the arm. Subject transported to HMC for warrant, CBO for obstruction. Officer was transported to hospital for treatment.
