At 2200 hours, officers responded to a court order violation in William sector involving a longtime feud between neighbors. Officers developed PC for assault when one neighbor threw a 12oz soda can (unopened) from his rooftop deck (an approximate 30-foot elevation) at his 84-year-old neighbor, nearly striking her in the head. Patrol attempted to contact the suspect at his residence, but he refused to come out. Officers generated a search warrant for the residence and ultimately his arrest. HNT responded to the scene and RTCC also contributed greatly. Dialogue with the suspect continued for some time until he exited his residence and was placed under arrest without further incident.
