At 0149 hours, officers responded to the area of Lake Washington Blvd and Madrona Drive for a call of shots heard. Officers arrived in the area and located evidence in the street. No witnesses, victims, or property damage was located.

At 0656 hours, Seattle Fire responded to a fire alarm in a unit of an apartment building. Forced entry and found subject deceased due to fire and possible smoke inhalation. SFD Fire Investigator Unit personnel responded, as well as ABS detectives. Preliminary investigation showed no suspicious or criminal activity involved in fire. KCMEO responded to the scene.

At 2041 hours, officers responded to an assault call in the 100 block of North 36th Street. They spoke with two female victims, one male suspect and several witnesses. Officers learned that the suspect had aggressively approached the victims after all three had left a bar and, after being rebuffed, tried to steal their purses and jewelry. During the physical altercation one victim was pushed and the other sustained a scratch on the leg. The suspect was arrested for attempted robbery and booked into King County Jail. Robbery notified via email.

At 2242 hours, officers responded to a shots heard call in the 8000 block of Stone Avenue North. On scene they located a townhome with water cascading out of the second floor onto the pavement below. Officers contacted two occupants of the residence, a male and female. Further investigation concluded with the male admitting he believed unknown individuals had entered his home (no signs of forced entry could be found) and he fired multiple shots in self-defense. A record checked returned with a previous felony conviction for the male. He was subsequently arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm and booked into King County Jail. Officers evidence.
