At 1300 hours, alert tones were broadcast for a stabbing at 13th and East Spring Street. Officers arrived and detained the suspect, and rendered medical aid to the victim, who was stabbed/slashed once in the hand. Investigation revealed that the victim and suspect, who are friends, got into an argument, and decided to fight. As the fistfight started, suspect produced a knife, which cut the victim. Suspect was booked to King County Jail, and the victim was transported for stitches to HMC.

At 1512 hours, police responded to a report of an assault in the 1400 block of Madison Street. Officers arrived and located the victim just outside of the apartment building. The suspect had fled on a bike to a nearby hospital. It was reported there was a physical altercation that led to a threat with a gun and the male suspect sustaining a non-life-threatening stab wound. K9 completed an evidence track for the gun that yielded negative results. The male suspect will be booked into King County Jail for felony harassment and assault once medically cleared.
