At 0647 hours, officers were dispatched to a disturbance at an apartment building in Nora sector. The caller stated that a smoke alarm was going off in one of the units. When they called the resident to see if they were alright, the resident informed them that she was going to burn the entire building down. Officers made entry into the apartment and took the suspect into custody without issue. The apartment still smelled of smoke upon entry. Officers found a pile of papers that had been lit on fire. There were no injuries to anyone in the building. The suspect was transported to the King County Jail where she was medically declined. When medically cleared from the hospital she will be booked into King County jail for Arson.

At 1052 hours, dispatch received reports that a male suspect pointed a multi-colored revolver at a security guard when asked to leave. Suspect left towards encampment near 24th Avenue South and South Walker Street. Multiple units responded and checked the encampment and surrounding areas with negative results. Guardian 1 was in the area and assisted with an area check. The suspect remains outstanding.

At 1218 hours, suspect approached victim and used defamatory language related to victim’s perceived national origin. Suspect pushed victim and stepped on his foot. Suspect fled the scene in a vehicle before officers arrived.
#2026-206031/South Precinct/Third Watch/O2
At 2024 hours, a victim was walking through the parking lot of a vehicle sales business. In the parking lot there was a RV parked using power from the business. As the victim was walking by, the suspect started shooting at the victim with an unknown type of weapon. The victim recognized him on sight from previous encounters. The victim sustained several injuries from a pellet type of weapon and was treated by SFD on the scene. Upon patrol arrival, the suspect refused to communicate even after numerous phone calls, texts, emails, hailing and sirens. A search warrant was sought and approved. SWAT responded. After SWAT got the suspect’s attention, contact was made with the suspect from HNT, who was able to successfully negotiate his exit from the RV. He was taken into custody without further incident.
