While one suspect in the case has been arrested, detectives are still looking for others involved.

The Seattle Police Department continues to seek information leading to an arrest in the shootings Sunday at Seattle Center.
Today, SPD opened an online portal for people to share evidence. Through this link anyone can upload video or photos that show the minutes leading up to the shooting, images of the shooting, and possible suspect information. People can help with the investigation anonymously.
“Our city grieves the lives of Ashley Whitehead, 56, Carlos Israel Sanchez Villalba, 44, and Junior Cee Niko Semo, 19, and we are devastated by the mental and physical injuries suffered by so many,” said Seattle Police Chief Shon Barnes.
In total, seven people were struck by gunfire outside the Armory building during the Bite of Seattle. A 15-year-old has been arrested and charged criminally in connection with the violence. The 19-year-old who died at the scene is believed to be associated with the suspect, while the other two who suffered fatal injuries are believed to have been innocent victims.
After a thorough investigation, police have clarified a repeated misunderstanding: A 27-year-old man who checked himself into UW Medical Center on Sunday evening was truly the seventh victim, NOT an eighth victim. This individual was treated and released within hours.

“There are families grieving who have lived through a total nightmare and they deserve justice. We will hold those accountable who are responsible and help our community heal,” said Chief Barnes.

The Seattle Police Department is investigating a shooting at the Bite of Seattle Sunday night.
Officers who were on the Seattle Center grounds for the food festival heard the gunfire and rapidly responded. Preliminary reports indicate that two people exchanged gunfire outside the Seattle Center Armory around 6 p.m. Seven people of varying ages were struck by bullets.
Three people, a 19-year-old man, a 44-year-old man, and a 56-year-old woman, tragically lost their lives. Two individuals died at the scene and a third passed away at Harborview Medical Center.
Four additional, including a toddler, people were hospitalized. As of early Monday morning, everyone remained in stable condition at local hospitals.
Officers who responded to gun violence quickly arrested one individual. The man was taken to Seattle Police Headquarters to be interviewed.
Police do not believe the public is in danger. Investigators are pursuing leads to identify others involved in the gun violence.
“Our officers were there within seconds. They performed emergency aid to the wounded until the Seattle Fire Department was on scene,” said Acting Chief Tyrone Davis. “Simultaneously, officers launched a search for the people responsible for this senseless violence.”
Detectives from the Homicide Unit and Gun Violence Reduction Unit will be working to determine what led to the shooting.
