While doing the Downtown Activation Team street cleaning at 3rd Avenue and Pine Street, officers observed a known suspect in the area who they believed had an active warrant for his arrest. Officers located the suspect and took him into custody. Officers found a loaded stolen handgun, narcotics, a scale, cash, and an axe on the suspect and confirmed he had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested for unlawfully possessing a firearm; possession of a stolen firearm; drug related offenses, his warrant and possessing a dangerous weapon.

On 08/24/26 the victim arrived at the West Precinct to report a Hate Crime that occurred several days earlier in the Little Saigon area. The victim advised that an unknown male joined him on the elevator, yelled homophobic slurs and kicked him. A physical fight ensued between the two where the victim reported receiving a black eye.

Officers responded to a report of a possible DUI. Initially, it was reported that the driver was slumped over the steering wheel, but later the vehicle drove off and turned into an underground parking lot. Officers contacted the driver in the parking lot and arrested him. Further investigation found the vehicle to be reported stolen out of Seattle, and the suspect had outstanding arrest warrants from four separate agencies.
