Detectives are investigating after a person was shot and killed in the Rainier Beach neighborhood Sunday night.
Officers were called to the 9300 block of 51 Avenue South at 9:57 PM Sunday for a report shots fired.
Police arrived and found an 18-year-old victim with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. Officers performed first aid on the victim until Seattle Fire Department Medics took the victim to Harborview Medical Center where the victim later died.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene and continue to investigate.
