#2021-220994/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 08-25-2021 at 0007 hours, officers responded to an unknown disturbance. A male was banging on the caller’s door. Officers arrived, detained the suspect, ran the suspect, discovered a DOC escape warrant, and established probable cause for attempted burglary. The suspect had cautions for assaulting an officer with a closed fist and for threatening suicide by cop. The suspect attempted to run and then resisted arrest. Type 2 force was used. One officer sustained a superficial injury. The suspect was booked for attempted burglary and assault 3 and his warrant along with obstructing and resisting arrest.

#2021-221092/West Precinct/First Watch:

On 08-25-2021 at 0423 hours, a male victim reported he had been assaulted and the suspect attempted to take his car. Officers responded to 400 S Washington where the victim had run from the reported location of the crime at 669 S King. Victim told officers he had met a female on Facebook for a hook up and met her at the Louisa Hotel, 669 S King. Once in the room, another female and male arrived. While in the bedroom, the victim reported he was threatened and struck with a gun from the other male. Victim reported during the struggle the gun went off then jammed, the suspect then ‘tased’ him several times. Eventually, all four went outside where the suspect wanted to take the victim’s car. Once outside, the victim ran away. While officers were looking into the victim’s car through the windows, the victim decided he wanted to leave so he got into his car and drove away. Officers did an area check, and checked the Louisa, and did not locate any suspects or evidence. Based on previous reports involving the victim, he may know who the other female is along with the male suspect.

#2021-206534/West Precinct/First Watch:

On 08-25-2021 at 0800 hours, detective investigated a theft of upwards of three hundred thousand dollars-worth of property from a local business. His investigation led to the identity of two suspects, who resided in Lynnwood. The detective secured arrest and residential search warrants. GIU, MCTF and SWAT responded to the residences and the warrants were served. Both suspects were taken into custody and evidence was collected. Both suspects were booked into King County Jail for Theft 1st degree. The investigation is ongoing.

#2021-221209/South Precinct/First Watch:

On 08-25-2021 at 0802 hours, a subject who resides at a DESC building walked outside and without provocation balled up his fists and punched an inebriated neighbor in the face at least 5 times causing significant injury. The victim refused multiple offers for Seattle Fire to treat him. Subject was on scene upon officers’ arrival and taken into custody without further incident.

#2021-221252/West Precinct/First Watch:

On 08-25-2021 at 0908 hours, officers responded to a shelter in the 400 block of 4 Ave for a report of a male making threats to kill staff. Probable cause was established for a Hate Crime, Felony Harassment. The suspect was arrested without incident. Email notifications sent.

#2021-221543/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 08-25-2021 at 1503 hours, a silver sedan was travelling at a high rate of speed eastbound on Ne 125th approaching 24 Av Ne. At the same time a silver station wagon was travelling westbound on Ne 125th St approaching 24 Av Ne. The eastbound vehicle drove into the two-way left turn and crossed into the westbound lane of travel and was t-boned. An infant (in the errant vehicle) suffered what Seattle Fire determined to be a serious head injury. The infant was transported to Harborview Medical Center via Medic One. The errant adult female driver (mother of infant) was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert. Signs of impairment were observed; she was subsequently placed under arrest for vehicular assault.

#2021-221682/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 08-25-2021 at 1800 hours, a call came in to 9-1-1 that a person had been shot. Officers arrived and found one man with a gunshot wound to his right hip area. Officers administered medical aid until relieved by Seattle Fire. Witnesses and victim heard one shot, but did not see any suspect, or disturbance. Gun Violence Reduction Unit is handling follow up. Night Captain and Media Unit advised.

#2021-221785/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 08-25-2021 at 1951 hours, officers responded to a 911 call where the reporting party stated her boyfriend was stabbed. Upon arrival, the victim was located and contacted in front of the dispatched location. Both the caller and victim were uncooperative and refused to provide details as to how it occurred. Victim was taken to a local hospital via AMR.

#2021-221942/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 08-25-2021 at 2329 hours, officers responded to the 700 block of S Dearborn St to a report of a person shot. Upon arrival to the area, officers were able to locate a gunshot victim. Officers secured the area and treated victim of his injuries until arrival of Seattle Fire Dept. Victim was then transported to Harborview Medical Center. Officers upon making an area search were able to locate evidence of a shooting within the parking lot that victim had parked. Gun Violence Reduction Unit detectives arrived and processed scene for recovery of evidence.
