
A 28-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a homicide that occurred on March 10 in the Belltown neighborhood.
The victim, a 55-year-old man, was found with stab wounds around 1:30 a.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Avenue. He succumbed to his injuries on March 16.
On March 20, Homicide Unit detectives, in coordination with the Gun Violence Reduction Unit, Seattle Police Department SWAT, and the Edgewood Police Department, located and arrested the suspect in Edgewood, Washington.
The woman was booked into King County Jail for investigation of murder. The investigation is ongoing.

Seattle police detectives are investigating a stabbing that occurred last week in the Belltown neighborhood that resulted in the victim’s death on March 16.
On March 10, at about 1:30 a.m., patrol officers responded to reports of an assault in the 2100 block of 1st Avenue. They found a 55-year-old victim bleeding from his abdomen.
Police provided medical aid to the victim until the Seattle Fire Department took over care. They transported him to Harborview Medical Center (HMC) in serious, but stable condition.
Police determined that the victim was at a bar in Belltown and was later stabbed by an unidentified person.
On March 16, the victim died at HMC.
