At 2327 hours, officers responded to the location reference a reported shooting. Upon arrival, a victim was located that stated he was walking back to his apartment building, when he was approached by an unknown male suspect who stated holding a shotgun. The victim ran away and heard one shot fired. The victim ducked between some parked cars and threw his bag and phone toward the suspect. The suspect grabbed the bag but left the phone and ran to a waiting vehicle and fled from the location. It is unknown if the suspect shot at the victim or just up in the air. There was no property damage. Patrol processed the scene, searched for cameras, interviewed witnesses, and collected one expended shotgun shell. Suspect was not located. GVRU & Robbery notified via alert email.

At 1100 hours, a victim owed their neighbor (suspect) money and was walking up to them to repay it. The suspect pushed the victim down, took her purse and removed the $200, plus an additional $100 and walked away. Officers attempted to contact the suspect with negative results.
