On January 18th at approximately 2:35 p.m. an adult male victim walked into a grocery store near 1st Avenue West and West Republican Street bleeding from the face and claiming he had been stabbed.  Officers and SFD Medics responded to the scene.  The victim had not been stabbed, but did have multiple cuts to his face.  He was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers checking the area located and arrested the adult male suspect approximately 15 minutes later.  The suspect had also sustained cuts to his face and was bleeding.  SFD Medics were called to treat the suspect and he too was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers planned on booking the suspect into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery after he was released from the hospital.
