On February 16th, at approximately 12:15 AM, Seattle Police and Seattle Fire responded to a call of a stabbing in the 9300 Block of 44th Avenue Southwest. A woman called 911 stating that her husband had just been stabbed by another man inside their residence. Officers arrived quickly and discovered the victim, a man in his 60’s, with a stab wound to his chest. Seattle Fire Department medics came in, but the victim was already dead. Officers set up containment for a K9 track, but the suspect was not located. Homicide and CSI detectives arrived at the location and began their investigation. It is possible that the victim and suspect knew each other. The Homicide Unit will be reponsible for the follow up investigation.
