Robbery detectives are searching for three men who robbed a Lake City bank this morning.
Shortly after 10 am, three men dressed in black walked into the Wells Fargo bank at 127th and Lake City Way NE. At least one of the suspects climbed up on a counter and told bank staff to give him money from their cash drawers.
None of the men flashed a weapon during the robbery, but witnesses saw a gun tucked inside one suspect’s coat.
After fleeing the scene in a red jeep, the suspects ditched the car several blocks away from the bank near 130th and Lake City Way.
Detectives have impounded the suspects’ car and continue to investigate.
