Armed Car Jacking with Shots Fired in South Seattle

Two men stole another man’s Cadillac at gunpoint and shot at the victim in front of his own house in South Seattle this morning.

On January 5th at approximately 4:51 a.m. officers responded to a report of shots fired and people screaming in the 4500 block of South Willow Street.  Preliminary investigation indicates that the male victim had just arrived home with his female friend and was in the process of exiting his car when two unknown black male suspects approached him and demanded his vehicle.

One of the suspects pulled out a black handgun and pointed it at the victim.  The victim then ran towards his house at which point the suspect fired three shots at him, all missing the victim.  Both suspects then got into the victim’s car and fled westbound on South Willow Street.

Officers conducted an area search for the suspects however, they remain at large.  Officers also searched the area for property damage however, none was located.

Neither the victim nor his companion suffered any injuries during the altercation.

The victim’s stolen car is described as a 1995 light blue Cadillac Deville 4-door sedan with large rims.

Suspect #1 (the shooter) is described as a black male in his 20’s to 30’s wearing a black and red jacket and baseball hat.  A further description of suspect #2 is unavailable at this time.

Anyone with information about this incident or who may know the identity or whereabouts of the suspects or the victim’s vehicle is asked to call 911 or Seattle Police and refer to this incident.  Anonymous tips are welcome.

This remains an active and on-going investigation.
