Officers and Gang Unit detectives are actively investigating a shots fired incident that occurred outside the Fusion Lounge in the University District this morning. On January 5th at approximately 2:04 a.m. officers responded to the area of NE 45th Street and 7th Avenue NE for reports of multiple shots fired.
Witnesses told officers they heard multiple shots being fired near vehicles parked in a lot on the south side of NE 45th Street and 7th Avenue NE. Upon officers’ arrival all involved parties to the incident had left the area. Officers recovered shell casings from the parking lot and found damage to an apparently unrelated vehicle.
The suspects remain at large. Anyone with information about this incident or who may know the identities or whereabouts of any of the involved parties is asked to call 911 or Seattle Police and refer to this incident. Anonymous tips are welcome.
