Two robbers arrested in South Seattle

Two people arrested for South Seattle robbery. This afternoon, just shortly before 3:00 p.m., the victim was robbed at gunpoint by a group of males and females at Martin Luther King JR WY S and S. Myrtle St. Officers quickly arrived in the area and captured the male suspect who was armed with a gun during the robbery.

The gun was located under a porch near the arrest scene along with the suspect’s clothing.  The victim positively identified the suspect and the suspect’s clothing.  Officers stopped a second suspect and the victim was able to identify this suspect as being a part of the group that robbed him.

Officers also found a wallet at the scene of the robbery that was taken in a robbery at S. Cloverdale St and Rainier Av S an hour earlier. Officers believe the male suspect in custody is responsible for both armed Robberies.

The male and female suspect was taken to the South Precinct for processing. They will be subsequently booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery.
