A woman was knocked unconscious early Tuesday outside a Crown Hill bar after she was struck by an egg thrown from a passing truck.
The woman and several friends were standing outside the bar near NW 85th Street and 15th Avenue NW when someone in a passing truck let loose a volley of eggs.
One of the eggs struck the victim right behind her ear, knocking her unconscious. The woman’s friends caught her as she fell to the ground, and then drove her to a nearby hospital where they met with police.
Witnesses—including a bar employee, who was also struck in the drive-by egging—described the truck as a small, black or green pickup with a canopy and dark-tinted windows.
