Officers arrested a 41-year-old man early this morning after receiving calls that he was attempting to break into a home near Rainier Avenue South and 68th Avenue South.
Just before 4:00 am the homeowner called 911 to report an unknown individual was attempting to break into his house. The victim was at home with his wife and young son. Officers arrived quickly and contained the house. The suspect was located sitting in the backyard and officers quickly took the suspect into custody.
The suspect was later booked into the King County Jail. Detectives will handle the follow up investigation.
