Homicide detectives are now investigating after the 31-year-old man died at the hospital. Detectives are continuing their work on developing a possible suspect description.

Officers are investigating after a man was shot at 1 Avenue South and South Spokane Street just before early Tuesday morning.
Officers received calls of shots fired in a homeless encampment near the intersection of 1 Avenue South and South Spokane Street just before 5 a.m. this morning. Officers arrived moments later and found a man shot in the chest.
Officers conducted first aid until medics were able to take the man to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Officers are currently searching the area with k-9 units for two possible suspects.
