Detectives from the Arson Bomb Squad (ABS) are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding a fire set in an abandoned building in Discovery Park last week. Two juveniles have been identified and interviewed as possible suspects.
The fire, in the 4500 block of Texas Way West, which was reported to the Seattle Fire Department on January 21st, caused damage to the structure. Detectives received the case a few days later and identified and interviewed the two juveniles. They are not believed to been connected to any other suspicious fires. This remains an active and on-going investigation.
