Seattle Police Officers responded to a report of a possible homicide in the Brighton neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon.
Officers responded to the call shortly before 4 p.m. and located a 20-year-old woman deceased inside of a residence in the 4600 block of South Orchard Street. Officers secured the scene and notified the Homicide Unit.
A 58-year-old man was treated for injuries by the Seattle Fire Department and transported to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.
He was arrested for investigation of murder and booked into King County Jail.
