On October 5th at 8:55 PM North Precinct officers responded to a vehicle collision at N 80th Street and Wallingford Avenue N. Citizens reported that a young adult male was driving a Ford Thunderbird recklessly. The same vehicle then rammed the back of a moving SUV at freeway speeds. The two cars continued about a full block from the impact.
The driver of the Thunderbird suffered a serious head injury. There was a passenger in the that vehicle but he fled on foot and was not located. The driver of the SUV was uninjured. The injured man was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. Traffic Collision Investigation detectives responded and will investigate the collision.
