On October 25th at approximately 3:00 A.M., an adult male suspect “staged” his own bicycle accident on the University Bridge, lying down next to his bicycle, waiting for a motorist to stop and help him. An adult female victim stopped her car to render aid to the suspect. The suspect immediately and brutally attacked her, punching her, kicking her, and threatening to kill her. Officers arriving on the call witnessed the assault. Officers immediately arrested the suspect. The victim was treated at the hospital, and the suspect was booked into the King County Jail.
