Possible robbery prevented, gun recovered, one arrested near Seattle Center

On October 25th at approximately 1:30 A.M., officers responded to the area of 5th Ave/Broad Street in  response to a caller reporting a robbery at a business.  The suspects had reportedly fled southbound on 5th Ave in an older red Cadillac.  While checking the area, a patrol sergeant located three subjects who matched the suspect descriptions standing next to a red Olds Cutlass at a gas station in the 300 Block of Broad St.
When back-up arrived, the three were detained, and a loaded .40 semi-auto pistol was recovered from under the rear bench seat of the vehicle.
Though officers were never able to locate the complainant from the robbery, all three subjects were transported to the West Precinct.  One of the subjects was booked for an outstanding warrant, and the other two were released pending the lab results from the pistol, which was submitted for prints.
