On November 4th at about 9:30 AM, a neighbor observed a suspicious man crawling around in the crawlspace of a house in the 4500 Block of South Lucile Street. The neighbor went across the street to call 911 and then returned to the scene to keep an eye on the suspect. The neighbor watched as the suspect removed items from under the house and then hide the items next to a garage in the alley behind that house. Officers arrived and the complainant pointed out the suspect who was standing in the alley next to the stolen items. Officers ordered the suspect to stop and the man immediately began running. Two South Precinct officers chased the suspect on foot for approximately four blocks. Responding patrol officers were able to intercept the suspect and take him into custody. The 48 year-old man was later booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Burglary.
