At approximately 11:30 PM on November 4th, North Precinct officers responded to a stabbing call at a tavern in the 5500 block of 20th Avenue NW. Upon arrival two males were continuing to fight in the roadway. One male was bleeding profusely from his arm. As officers arrived, the suspect sprinted around the corner of the bar and fled. The victim was extremely intoxicated and hostile, standing in the middle of the road, requiring additional units to calm him down so he could be treated for his injuries. Officers set up containment and a K-9 unit attempted to track the suspect. The track was unsuccessful. The victim was treated by SFD and transferred to Swedish Hospital Ballard for attention to deep slices to his arm.
