DV Stabbing-Suspect Arrested

At 2:00  a.m. , officers responded to a reported stabbing in the 3800 block of 34th Ave W. Once on scene they learned that the victim and the suspect, who are twin brothers, had argued after one brother had chastised the other because the second brother (also the suspect in the stabbing)  had slapped his girlfriend during an altercation.  The brothers then began to argue with each other, and the conflict escalated until the suspect ended up stabbing his brother in the leg with a kitchen knife. The victim suffered multiple stab wounds to that leg, Seattle Fire Medics responded and treated the victim on scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non life threatening injuries.

The officers were able to take the suspect into custody at the scene without incident. They booked him into the King County Jail for Investigation of Assault (DV) and requested an additional misdemeanor charge for the earlier incident involving his girlfriend.

The brothers are thirty-year-old  males.  The girlfriend is a twenty-eight-year-old female. She was not seriously injured during the incident.   The investigation continues.
