On 12-22-08 at 1148 p.m., officers were investigating a case of an individual stabbed in the back in the area of the 4600 block of Leary Way NW. Officers located the transient victim who had suffered a single stab wound to his back. The victim cited two names of assailants and described the crime scene as a vehicle that resembled an ambulance. The location of such was unknown. The victim was transported to an area hospital via Medic One with non life-threatening injuries.
A subsequent search for suspects and the crime scene produced a suspect vehicle in the 1100 block of Ballard Ave N.W. Pools of blood were sighted near the vehicle in question. Officers removed two suspects from the rear of a quasi-ambulance. They were highly intoxicated and living in a filthy environment within the vehicle.
It was evident that the victim was stabbed within the vehicle during a fight over a beer.
The two suspects were booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Assault.
