Attempted Home Invasion Robbery

On 1/12/09 at 4:00 PM South Precinct Officers responded to the 8300 block of 46th Avenue S. to investigate a possible home invasion robbery.  The victim told officers that he parked his car in the driveway of his home. He observed a dark colored vehicle pull in behind him. A suspect got of the vehicle and pointed a handgun at him.  The victim immediately ran towards the back of the house and called for his girlfriend (V2). He continued to sprint and ran to a neighbor’s house and requested he call the Police.

While this was occurring, victim 2 stepped out the Basement apartment of the house and stated she saw the suspect pointing a gun at victim 1. She then ran back towards the Basement and was grabbed by the back of her hair by a second suspect. She said the second suspect held a handgun to her side. The first suspect then entered the house. Both suspects then fled through the backyard of the house.  An area search was done but the suspects were not located.
