Robbery suspects arrested in UW case

On February 3 at approximately 12:00 Noon Seattle Police Robbery Detectives arrested two suspects involved in the assault and robbery of three University of Washington students. On January 17 at approximately 2:38 a.m. the two suspects pistol-whipped and robbed two of the victims in the 1600 block of NE 47th Street. The suspects also threatened a third victim with a firearm. SPD Robbery Detectives working in conjunction with the U.S. Army’s Criminal Investigation Division developed information that two Fort Lewis-based soldiers were involved in an armed robbery in Seattle. Suspect #1 is a 19-year-old male from Etna, Ohio.  Suspect #2 is a 20-year-old male from Nashville, Tennesee. Both suspects were arrested at Fort Lewis by Seattle Police Robbery Detectives with the assistance of Army CID agents. The two suspects were transported back to Seattle Police Department Headquarters where they were processed and subsequently booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery and Investigation of Assault.
