On February 4th at approximately 5:00 P.M. Seattle Police Robbery Detectives arrested a third robbery suspect at Fort Lewis with the assistance of the U.S. Army’s Criminal Investigation Division. Based on information developed during the course of their investigation, Seattle Police Robbery Detectives determined that a 21-year-old male suspect from Central Falls, Rhode Island, participated in an armed robbery that was committed on January 10th at about 2:05 A.M. along with two other suspects who were arrested yesterday for a January 17th armed robbery and assault. The January 10th incident occurred in the 4500 block of 16th Avenue NE when the three suspects robbed two male victims at gunpoint. The 3rd suspect arrested today was present at the January 17th robbery and assault that occurred in the 1600 block of NE 47th Street, but did not participate in the actual robbery or assault itself.The 3rd suspect is an active-duty U.S. Army soldier stationed at Fort Lewis. He was interviewed by SPD Robbery Detectives and booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery. This remains an active and on-going Seattle Police Department investigation.
