On March 16th at approximately 9:00 A.M., an occupant of a home in the 500 Block of Galer Street observed a burglar breaking in through a window. The occupant was on the second floor of the residence when he heard glass breaking. He called 911 and gave the dispatcher an excellent description of the suspect’s clothing. Officers arrived in the area and saw the suspect running from the area. Officers took the suspect into custody after a brief foot chase. The suspect was postively identified by the victim, and the several items taken from the home were returned to the owner. The male suspect was booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Burglary.
