On Tuesday, March 31st at approximately 1:43 a.m. the victim was walking with a friend when they were approached by the suspect near the corner of Occidental Avenue South and Yesler Way in Pioneer Square. For reasons yet to be determined, the suspect struck the victim on the head and knocked him to the ground. The suspect fled the scene on foot and remains at large. The 25-year-old male victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center with serious head injuries.The suspect is a black male approximately 5’7″, 175 lbs, who was last seen wearing a black puffy jacket, dark pants and white shoes.
