Fugitive arrested in Pioneer Square

On March 31st, Seattle Police received a request from Richmond Police in California to be on the lookout for a murder suspect believed to be in Seattle.  The murder occurred in Richmond last week.

Seattle Police homicide detectives developed information that the suspect, a 55-year-old man, was at a shelter in the 1500 block of Alaskan Way S.  The information proved to be correct.  The suspect was contacted and placed under arrest without incident.  The suspect was subsequently booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Fugitive.  The suspect’s car was impounded for processing.
