On April 7 at approximately 2:23 p.m. officers responded to 911 calls of shots fired in a parking lot near the corner of South Garden Street and Rainier Avenue South. Officers arrived on scene and found a 22-year-old male victim lying in between two vehicles with a gunshot wound to the chest. SFD Medics responded to the scene and transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The adult male suspect fled the scene on foot and remains at large. Homicide Detectives responded to the scene and continue to actively investigate.
