Since late February a lone male suspect was believed to be responsible for 12 till-tap/strong-arm robberies that occurred in the Seattle, King County area. SPD Robbery Detectives developed information during the course of an on-going investigation that led them to identify a 30-year-old man as the suspect and a $100,000 Robbery Warrant was issued for his arrest. On the evening of April 10, the suspect turned himself in to Robbery Detectives at Seattle Police Headquarters. The suspect was interviewed and subsequently booked into the King County Jail for the robbery warrant. SPD Robbery Detectives are coordinating with other agencies as they continue to actively investigate these cases.
