The Seattle Police Department is honored to have received an Above and Beyond Award from Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). In their presentation, ESGR said the “Seattle Police Department continues to provide support to their Guard and Reserve employees. The Department currently provides paid military leave, wage supplement, continuation of benefits, continuation of accumulation of annual vacation and other benefits that are not disrupted due to mobilization.” The Seattle Police Department has numerous employees who are members of either the active Guard or Reserves or are military veterans.
