Robbery on bus downtown, suspect arrested

On May 15th at approximately 7:10 p.m., three female victims were aboard a  downtown Metro Transit coach  preparing to watch a video on an ipod.  The male suspect grabbed the ipod from them and exited the coach.  The three victims pursued the suspect in an effort to have the ipod returned.  In an effort to maintain control of the ipod the suspect punched at least two of the victims about their faces.  The victims followed the suspect and were able to call  9-1-1. 

 

Officers located the suspect at 3rd Avenue and James Street where he was promptly arrested.  Written statements were taken from the three victims and the adult male suspect was booked into the King County Jail  on Investigation Of Robbery.
