On 06/08/09, just shortly before 11 p.m., multiple North End officers were dispatched to the area of 1st NE and NE 107th, regarding a robbery of pedestrians at knife-point. Officers located the suspect vehicle in the 700 Block of N.E. 145th and performed a felony stop. Three adults were taken into custody—two males and a female. This occurred without incident. The weapon in question was ultimately recovered. It was found to be a fork held in such a manner as to appear to be a knife. A positive identification of the suspects was made, and they were booked into King County Jail on Investigation of robbery. One of the arrested adult males had a previous conviction for complicity in a bank robbery.
