Man shot in arm

On 8/18/09, at approximately 9:00 p.m., officers saw a disturbance in the area of  Rainier Av S. and S. Henderson. The officers contacted a subject  who told them he had been shot in the nearby area.  He said the shooter was in a vehicle that drove by him. The “victim” was unable/unwilling to provide any suspect or vehicle information, and wasn’t able to provide an approximate location.  Officers checked the area and found no evidence or witnesses.     The subject was shot in the left shoulder and left elbow.  Injuries not considered life threatening. He was treated on scene and later transported to an area hospital for treatment.
