Cold Case detectives have been actively investigating the case after it was re-opened approximately three years ago.

The original incident occurred on August 12th, 1984. The 70-year-old female victim was murdered in her home in the 7900 block of 46th Avenue South. The suspect will be booked later today into the King County Jail for Investigation of Homicide.
