On 8/28/09, at approximately 2:10a.m., the suspect and victim were on Carlton Ave S just south of Bailey. They were drinking together and then an argument developed. The suspect started accusing the victim of stealing something. A witness heard the argument and she came outside and observed the suspect stabbing the victim in the back. The witness called 9-1-1, as she observed the suspect standing over the victim stabbing him several more times. The suspect turned and walked away and then he started running. The suspect was located by officers and the witness made a positive indentification of him at the scene. The victim had several stab wounds to his body. Seattle Fire responded and transported to Harborview Medical Center with life threatening injuries. The suspect was booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Assault.
