On 9/22/09, shortly before 8:00 p.m., two groups of suspected drug dealers were involved in a fight disturbance in the U-District. This escalated to a reported shooting in the 1500 block of NE 52nd ST by one of the group’s members. Officers recovered two handgun shells in the area. The “victims” were uncooperative and only gave basic descriptions of the possible shooter.
An area check for victims or property damage was negative.
